I submitted four animations to Channel 4's E4 Estings competition. Below are the links to Youtube.
Flicker - This was created entirely with a video camera and screen displaying the E4 logo. Adobe After Effects was used to add a glow effect and the video was edited with Adobe Premiere.
Pencil - Using a digital camera taped to a box to keep it still, this stop frame animation comprised of a series of pictures of various drawings of the E4 logo. A printed E4 logo was below the paper that was being drawn on so I was able to see where to draw.
Cube - This was rendered completely in 3D Studio Max. Using 27 cubes, each face of the cube was given a separate material id to display parts of the E4 texture. The exploding fade and the fading in wire frame were blended in using Adobe Premiere.
Dominos - This was rendered completely in 3D Studio Max. Again like the cube animation each domino face was given a separate material id so the E4 texture was the same on both sides and not mirrored. The dominos were given a mass, using the plugin reactor. Several points in the domino set were activated to be knocked down by invisible objects being hurled towards the dominos.
